English Comedy feat Cécile Moroni & Jonis Josef

An evening of stand-up comedy by a Norwegian Somali guy and a French Norwegian lady

Jonis Josef and Cécile Moroni are two stand-up comedians from Norway. In 2022 Jonis was awarded Norwegian stand up comedian of the year, and one year later, he passed the torch to Cécile who won the same award in 2023.

Jonis is widely recognized as one of Norway’s best comedians, Over the past year, Jonis toured more than 40 cities in eight countries across Africa, Europe and the US, opening for Mo Amer and Hannibal Buress and performing at legendary venues like the Comedy Store in Los Angeles and New York Comedy Club. He was in 2026 chosen as one of the Just For Laugh New Faces of 2026.

Cécile Moroni has performed in multiple countries and multiple languages (French, Norwegian and German), and is one of the most prolific comedians working in Norway today, and has established herself on the international stage. In addition to winning multiple awards domestically, in 2024 she won the award « Trophée des Francais de l’Etranger » in Quai d’orsay in Paris. She is the only French comedian in Norway, and has dedicated the last 12 years of her life proving to Norwegians that French people can also be funny.
